Women's Coordinating Council
The Women's Coordinating Council (WCC) presents programs on a variety of issues related to women. These programs are available to students, faculty, and staff. The issues addressed include women's health, body image, gender and sexuality, sexual abuse, assault awareness, and leadership development. Some recent examples include: Guerrilla Girls, Rebekka Armstrong, Rebecca Walker, Pura Fe, and an Abortion Debate. The WCC also sponsors Take Back the Night which encompasses a march and candlelight vigil for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. WCC applications are now available. Please click here for an application. The deadline for these applications is 5pm on Fri. Sept 11. Interviews for WCC membership will be held Mon. Sept 14- Fri. Sept 18.
